Mrs. Leavie H. Purvis

LUCEDALE — Mrs. Leavie H. Purvis, 94, died June 22, 1987. Services are 10 a.m. today at the Agricola Baptist Church with burial in Antioch Cemetery in Florence. Fails Funeral Home is in charge.

She was a native of Simpson County and a longtime resident of Lucedale. She was a homemaker and a member of Agricola Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Grover Purvis and Sidney Purvis, both of Agricola, James Purvis of Vicksburg and Robert Purvis of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Mrs. Ruby McCann of Jackson; and 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
