Billy Wayne White, 62, passed away June 7, 2017 at his residence. Visitation will be 5pm-7pm Thursday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs and 10am-11am Friday at Antioch Baptist Church. Services will be 11am Friday at Antioch Baptist Church with burial at Antioch Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mr. White was a native of Hazlehurst and former longtime resident of Jackson. He had lived in the Old Pearl area of Rankin County for 10 years. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtis Lewis White; sister, Betty Walker Bannister, and great nephew, Jason Kent Dove.

He is survived by his father, J. B. White of Harrisville; son, William Scott Brister; daughters, Olivia Lee (John) and Mellissa White all of Florida; brother, Jerry Blaine White of Pearl; sister, Linda White Puckett of Harrisville; 4 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and great nephews; and four great great nephews.
