CRYSTAL SPRINGS — William E. Hedgepeth, 77, of Florence, died at Hinds General Hospital in Jackson Thursday.

The funeral will be from Antioch Baptist Church in Simpson County, at 10 a.m. Saturday. The body will lie in state at the church from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow with interment in the Antioch Church Cemetery with Hartman Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors include two sons, W. E. Hedgepeth of Winona, and Johnny Hedgepeth of Florence; one daughter, Mrs. Delton F. Wiggins of Windsboro, La.; two brothers, Dewey Hedgepeth of Terry and Huey Hedgepeth of Florence; two sisters, Mrs. Jobe Ross of Bolton and Mrs. Levie Purvis of Lucedale; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
