Mrs. Carrie Huckaby Cooper, 76 of Rte. 1, Banner, died in the Oxford Hospital Friday, Jan. 3, 1975. Born in Lafayette County April 16, 1893, she was a daughter of John Huckaby and Effie Hipp Huckaby. She was the widow of the late Sidney L. Cooper who died in March of 1974.
Mrs. Cooper was a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at Antony Funeral Home Chapel at 2 Sunday with Rev. Jim Lovelace officiating. Burial was in Sarepta Cemetery with Antony Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were James Huckaby, Hubert Glenn, Howard Edwards, Frank Garner, Buck Naramore, and Kenneth Cain.

Mrs. Cooper leaves a daughter, Mrs. Woodrow Howell of Banner; a sister, Miss Edna Huckaby, Sarepta; 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
