      Unknow county Mississippi for STOUT family surname - this branch of the STOUT family moved to Texas around 1880. My great-grandmother Sallie STOUT married John WINGATE in Red River Co TX in 1889. My grandfather William Daniel WINGATE was born in Clarkesville, Red River CO, TX 14 July 1893. On the census records for 1910 William (Will, Bill) WINGATE and my grandmother Pinkie YOUNG were living with Cora (STOUT), believed to be a relative of Sallie, and Lou WOODS. The STOUT family origin on the 1900 census was MISS. Any information on the (MS) STOUT family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

      WILBURN (WILBORN, WELBORN) g-g-g-grandfather Richard Wilburn, b. abt 1800 in S.C. Died abt 1856 in DeWitt County, Tx. Am looking for an descendants of Richard. Do know that he married twice and several children from his first marriage settled in Miss. and Ala. Some of the given names are: Max, George, Andrew, Anderson, and Martha Wilburn Cheatham. We know that Martha lived in Yazoo County most of her adult life. Also know that Max lived in Tallahatchie County for some time. Do not know where the other lived. We believe factions pf this family lived in Ga, Ala, Miss, Okla, La, and Texas at one time or other. Am related to the youngest sibling of the second family (Richard Brown Wilburn) and am glad to share information with interested parties.

      Was Wm. Thos. MORRIS in Mississippi in 1850? He cannot be found in Tennessee on the 1850 census. He was born in 1842. On the 1850 Tennessee census, we find James Morris, and other family members living in Madison Co. Tn. in the area of Pinson, Tn. W. T. was on the 1860 census in Madison Co and 1870 census was in Haywood Co. Served in the Confederate Army. Was 14 year old Wm. Thos. living in the household of one of your family members??

      MALONE. I'm searching for ancestors of H.P. Malone. I'm not even sure of what his initials stand for. He was born around 1870's He married Elizabeth Caroline HYATT on 9-9-1897 in Orange Co. Texas. From hear-say H.P. was born in MS. They had one son together name Hugh (Hugay) Preston Malone. So it is very likely that's what H.P. stood for the same as his sons name.

      I have been serching for the location of my Grgrgrandparents marrage. My only information is from their obituary, which states They were married In Mississippi and settled in Jersey Co. Illinois in 1848. There was no information at the state archives and I am presently in a county by county serch along the river. He was Thomas K. PHIPPS b.1819 VA, she was Martha Jane RAY b.1929 OH Thomas K. PHIPPS was a river boat captain before 1848 after leaveing Virginia in 1837. Any help would be appreciated.

      I am trying to get information on Joseph MCCARTNEY, who moved to Mississippi with his spouse Nancy GILCREASE, two sons, Andrew Joseph and George Washington. Joseph and Nancy later had a daughter, Mary Frances, and two sons, Frank and Charles Maryde, before moving to Louisiana sometime about 1863. I have no information on their parents names or where they lived while in Mississippi. Any siblings' names would be greatly appreciated, along with birth dates for the children.

      George Kidd BRADLEY was in an unknown MS county in 1850 census , age 29 with wife [I need her name] and 2 children, Archibald, age 4, and Jesse, age 2. They had a baby born 1850 named Robert. George was b. in South Carolina, returned to SC ca. 1855 and moved to Florida in 1862. Wife died in MS. Where is she buried? Any info appreciated.

      My gggf was William S. FORSYTH whom, I have reason to believe, lived in MS before moving to McNairy County, TN. TN census says he was born in Georgia. One land record says a William Forsyth bought land at Mt. Salus on 12/10/1840. My grandmother was Minnie Garvin, daughter of Solomon V. GARVIN and Melicie KIRK.
