I'm looking for information on Robert Lee GOOCH born July 18,1877, somewhere in Mississippi. His parents are Betsy Ann DUNN born Ms and father William W. (Bill) Gooch also born in MS., May 16, 1854. They were married in Itawamba Co. MS on May 18, 1876. On a seperate set of Gooches' I need information on Jemima Gooch and Wesley Gooch. They were living in Itawamba Co. in 1850. I have no information about Wesley Gooch after the 1850 census. He isn't buried with his wife. She's buried in the Hopewell Cem.in Prentiss Co.

I am researching the Morris SCANLON family. The 1850 Census for Lafayette, Indiana shows daughter, Catherine, born in Miss. about 1837. Mother's name Nancy CONNER SCANLON. Morris arrived in U.S. in 1837 at Black Rock, NY. Census shows other children born in Maryland and Virginia. Catherine's death certificate shows birthplace as Boston, Mass. Have searched Boston twice with no results.

I was able to find out that he was born in Miss. in 1853 and his fathers name is supposed to be Isaacs JOHNSON. My grandfather was born in Weatherford, Texas in 1895. His name was Quay Johnson. My great grandfathers whole name was John Franklin Johnson.

Looking for information on Gideon Mitchell WRIGHT and wife Jane LOWERY. HUX - Trying to locate date of death and/or place of burial for George Andrew HUX believed to be buried in Lawrence County. George was born May 24, 1877, at Ruth MS. Several very nice people have offered leads and suggestions online but so far we are still utl. George has a son and dau.-in-law buried in Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetary- Versie Andrew HUX and Bessie Jane BUCHANNAN. Any leads or info on George Andrew HUX will be appreciated. My maternal grandfather's parents were Cyrus J. and Rebecca CHAPMAN WILSON. Cyrus was born September 13, 1871 and died May 26, 1958. Rebecca was born April 27, 1873 and died July 12, 1922. Seek information on Joe L(eander?) RODGERS born abour 1855 in MS. He moved to AR at some point where he married Luella Cape, a widow with five children, in 1894 in St. Francis Co., AR. He may have been married before although census records indecated he was not. In 1900 the family lived in Denison, Grayson, TX, having moved from Sevier Co, AR. In 1901 the family was farming in Pickens Co., IT in the Chickasaw Nation. Joe died on the same farm in 1924 in what became Marshall Co., OK. Joe was dark haired, brown eyed, jug earred, possibly had an olive complexion, quite tall (probably about 6'5") and handsome. His children Homer and Joe were born in AR, Lillie, Carl and Walter were born in IT (OK).
