      Looking for information on Hiram PARSONS, and his wife Martha GOODE. From what I have found out they were from northern Mississippi, and had family in Alabama. Hiram died 12 Aug 1874, Crane, Stone, MO. His date of birth and place of birth is not known. Martha died in 1913, Crane, MO. Any information about the Parsons and Goode families will be of great help.

VAUGHAN, b abt 1860, AL, was said to have run a store somewhere in MS. His parents were Richard H. VAUGHAN and Anna B. RAIN. Eugene's wife was Leila M. SULLIVAN. Need their dates and children. Another son of Richard's was Rev. Emmett Reeves VAUGHAN who was said to have pastored a church in MS, but not sure which county.

      I'm searching for James Arthur HORTON's father who was born between 1805 and 1830 in an Unknown County of MS. James Arthur HORTON was born 1847 in TN, perhaps Hardin or McNairy County, TN, and married Mary Elizabeth MCCLUNG about 1869, probably in Franklin Co. or newly formed Colbert Co., AL. This couple moved to Hill Co. TX between 1875 and 1880. According to the 1880 Hill Co., TX census, James Arthur HORTON's father was born in MS and his mother in TN. His parents and siblings are unknown.

      NEAL, CARSON: Mississippi County Unknown. Looking for information on James Calvin Neal, b.17 Mar 1854. His fathers name was John Neal. James married Rachel E. Carson, b. 15 Apr 1853. Both are from Mississippi. James' death certiticate says he was born in Jacksonville, MS. I haven't been able to find a Jacksonville, but am certain he was born in MS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      WATSON - SMITH Francis Marion WATSON married Ruth Ann SMITH about 1875 in an unknown county in MS or LA. Ruth Ann was supposedly the daughter of a Henry SMITH and unknown wife who had died. She was an orphan with 2 sisters and a brother named Oliver SMITH. One sister married a GOODRICH, the other Sarah (Sally) SMITH came to TX with F.M. and Ruth Ann.       I am looking for the marriage or anything for Phil and Mollie (TAYLOR) DAVIS. I first find them in AR in the 1900 census. They were born and married in MS. In 1900 they were married 22 years. Four of their children were born in MS. Rodah 1879, Fannie 1882, Clarence 1886, and Viola 1892. Mollies mother was named Fannie TAYLOR. After Viola was born they moved to Cross Co. AR.       Looking for info on Alvie ABLES (b abt 1900 in MS Unknown County). Alvie married Nannie CHISOLM (b abt 1900 in MS) among their children were Wallace Johnson ABLES (b 13 Aug 1921 in Jackson MS). We know that Nannie married a man, Roy RADCLIFF. Not sure if Alvie died or they divorced. On birth cert of son, Wallace, Alvie listed his address as Lake City, Ms.. I could not find such a location.       I am searching for information on Rubin H. "Rube" WESTBROOK who migrated to Texas from Mississippi prior to 1880. My family has very little information on Rubin, other than the 1880 census of Houston County, Texas list Rubin H. Westbrook and wife, Sarah Elizabeth ENGLISH Westbrook. He came from Mississippi and she came from Tennessee. I would like to know who the parents of Rubin Westbrook were. Rubin and Sarah had the following Children: Minnie L. (1877-188l), J. Henry (1880-1903), Mary Jane (1882-1954), Hugh Edward (1884-1957), Almer (1887-1888), Dora Ollie (my grandmother ) (1889-1972), Benny Lee (1892-1916), John William (1895-1962), Samuel Jackson (1898-1969). Rubin Westbrook and his wife , Sarah, are buried in the Ivie Cemetery, Houston County, Texas.

      I am looking for decends of Andy Lawerence MASK. I know he had a brother Dolphus Mask. I also know that they came to Miss, from North Carolina. I found several Mask's in N, Carolina in the early 1800's, no trace after1810. Andy was my great grand father. My great grand mother's name was Mary Candie DELLINGER. My g,grandfather died in July,1947. My grandmother died a short time after his passing. She died in Feb. 1948. The surenames I am interested in are MASK, HOPPER, DELLINGER. SMITH born 1835 in LA. Ultimately Eliza had 7 children. Hugh married Miss ATTWOOD and James married Mary Katherine KING. I want to find Eliza's birthplace and parents and siblings.       I have been searching for my G grandfather's family. He states he was born in Miss. on cencus records. He was Maroin Frances CARPENTER born Dec. 4, 1857. He had one brother that I know of. He was Jefferson Davis Carpenter born Jan 8, 1860 in Miss. I got the cencus for all Miss. for 1860, went through county by county hoping to find him with his parents, but no luck. I've begun to loose hope! Any help would be appreciated. They were in Indian territory by 1880, lived and died in La Floria Co. OK.
