SANDERS
Dear Family Tree Researchers:
I am seeking information on my African American Sanders family from
Monroe County, MS. I am the granddaughter of James (Jim) Sanders and his
wife Emma Nancy Elizabeth Flakes of Lee County, MS. My grandfather and
his siblings: Mollie Bell, Willie Lee, Cliff(Clifton),Lazell (Doc),
Estell(Stella),Robert Lee, and Mary Sanders were from Monroe County, MS.
I am looking for any information on them after the 1930's. We learned Doc
aka Lazell Sanders went to Hattiesburg, MS. So we are seeking all places
this family lived. Their parents were John (Rance) Sanders and Lizzie
Elliott. I appreciate any family history you can share with me.
THANKS!
