CLARK posted by Anita Sue Clark- Martin on Monday, April 7, 1997

I'm searching for the family of Thomas David Clark (abt 1835-1861). He lived in Itawamba County, MS and Marion Co., AL a good portion of that time. His father died prior to 1850 and his mother (Martha 1814) can be found living in Ita.Cty. in the 1850 census married to a Ruben Scott with several Clark children living with them: William (1832 AL), Thomas David (1835 MS), Jefferson (1838 MS), Jeremiah (1840 MS) and Martha (1842). There were two other boys, John (1846)and James(1848)who were listed as Clarks in 1850 but as Scotts in 1860. We also know that Thomas David had a Uncle James Madison Clark who lived in Marion County,AL and Tishomingo,MS. Thomas David's Grandparents reportedly lived in Buzzard Roost,TN, and at an early age because of a disagreement with their stepfather Thomas and Jeremiah left their mother's home headed for their grandfather's. We have no reason to believe they ever reached their destination. Anyone with any information about any of these individuals please contact me by Email or at Anita Sue Clark-Martin, 415 South Highland Dr.,
