Sanders Creek

About a mile due noth of Piney Woods School in the woods of Rankin County, Sanders Creek begins. It heads south for a mile and flows under US Hwy 49. It takes a turn and heads SSE traveling another mile where it crosses into Simpson County (GPS: 32.049451, -89.992711). The creek continues another couple of miles and skirts the west side of the town of Braton.

Sanders Creek continues in a southerly direction another 3.5 miles and travels under Hwy 540 west of D'Lo. From there it continues its southern meandering another 5 miles where it empties into the Strong River (GPS: 31.911456, -89.944118).
