Here are two pictures of the last of old covered bridges (one of
a group of half a dozen bridges built that once spanned creeks in
Claiborne County. This one was over Clark's Creek on the Lower
Brandywine Road. It was built in 1877, but a flood took it down in
1953. My grandfather, Edward Hooker Jones' land was immediately on
the right as you came over the bridge from Pattison.
