Dorothy L. Schwartz, 86, passed away November 20, 2013 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Thursday at Stringer Family Funeral Home and 12pm-2pm Friday at Antioch Baptist Church. Services will be 2pm Friday at Antioch Baptist Church with burial at Antioch Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Schwartz was a native of Hinds County. She formerly lived in Miami, Fl and Mobile, Al before she moved back home. In 1983 she moved to Simpson County until present. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She retired from the soil conservation service after more than 25 years. She loved her animals and gardening.

She is survived by sister, Mary Purvis of Newton; eight nephews, four great nephews and three great nieces.
