FLORENCE — Bill Lewis, 70, of Florence, died Friday at his home following a long illness.

He was a native of Simpson County and a member of the Marvin United Methodist Church in Florence.

Funeral services are at 3:30 p.m. today at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery with Stringer Funeral Home of Crystal Springs in charge.

He is survived by a brother, Charles B. Lewis of Terry; six sisters, Mrs. Sally Mae Graves of Harris, Mrs. Leslie Barr of Terry, Mrs. Johnny Buck Comper of Florence, Mrs. Ella Ray of Florence, Mrs. John McCullough of Florence, Mrs. Clara Ray of Florence.
