Tommy Lewis, 49, died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon.
Visitation is 5-8 pm Sunday, July 6, 2008, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 11 am Monday, July 7, 2008, at Antioch Baptist Church in Simpson County with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will also be at 10 am Monday at the church.
Tommy was a native of Simpson County and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He worked as a Ceiling Technician for Acoustic Inc. in Ridgeland for many years and also worked part time at Bill's Archery in Pearl. Tommy was a Army Veteran was Baptist. He loved his family, was a devoted husband, father, son and brother and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was an avid sportsman, especially loving to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Lewis of Brandon; daughters, Khristian and Haley Flowers both of Brandon; mother, Mae (Bud) Vance and husband, Clark of Pearl; sister, Joan Letz and husband, Albert of Purvis; brother, Burt Lewis and wife, Paulette of Hattiesburg; and a number of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Payton Lewis in 2006; father, Burton Lewis in 1977; and brother, Dwight Lewis in 1964.
