Mildred Nila Lewis, 85, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at MS Baptist Medical Center with family at her side.

She was born in Terry, MS on February 19, 1929 to Willie B. and Lucy Shack Harrison. Her lifelong love of music has blessed the hearts of many. She played the piano for any occasion and never said no to anyone who asked. Mildred was a lifelong volunteer of playing the piano to numerous nursing homes.

Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by spouse, J. B. Lewis and daughter, Jeannie Lewis.

She is survived by her son, Randy Lewis (Sandy); daughter, Becky Arrington (Tommy) of Florence; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13th from 5-8 PM and Thursday, August 14th from 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Services at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with burial following at Antioch Baptist Church in Florence.
