This page is devoted to biographical data of early settlers of Scott County, as well as family histories. Although it may be thought that "early settlers" refers to those who established themselves in Scott County during the antebellum era, for the purpose of this project an "early settler" refers to any person or family who settled in Scott County prior to 1900.
