  • May 28, 1842
    Died on Sunday the 22nd, at the residence of Capt. John Simmonds in this county, John M. Flournay.
  • December 24, 1844
    Married in Lexington, on Thursday evening last, by the Rev. Mr. Russell, Mr. William Boyle to Miss Charlotte Wilson, both of that town.
    And on Sunday evening last, by Rev. W.E. Holley, Mr. Henry Redmond. of Texas to Miss Louisa Baskin of Lexington.
  • January 8, 1845
    Married at the residence of T.J. Mann, in the city of Jackson, on the 25th ultimo, by J.P. Oldham Esq., John R. Hall to Miss Sophia S. Dillard, both of Carroll County.
  • January 15th, 1845
    Died in Lexington, on Tuesday, 7th, Jesse Lewis, a native of Tennessee, but for several years a native of this state, in the 25th year of his age.
    Died recently in Hinds Co., Col. Williamson Smith, of Madison, formerly of Maury Co., Tennessee, aged fifty years.
  • January 22nd, 1845
    Married on Wednesday evening last by the Rev. J.D. Neal, Mr. John Robinson to Miss Malinda, daughter of Dennis Carpenter, all of this county.
    Died at the residence of Maj. J.A. Girault in Tallahatchie Co., on the 24th December last, Dr. Thomas Richard Girault, aged 36 years, a native of Natchez.
    Died in the city of Jackson, on December 20th, Mrs. Martha Ann Blake.
  • January 29, 1845
    Married on the 17th, by A. Lott, Esq., Mr. A.J. Sulliva, to Miss Elvira E. Denman, all of this county.
  • February 19, 1845
    Married on the 3rd, G.F. Neill, Esq., of Carroll Co., Miss., to Miss Caroline Hart, of Robertson Co., Tenn.
