Kirby CemeteryLocation: About 13 miles NW of Carrollton on land formerly owned by J.W. Hobgood, now owned by Dr. Paul Kosko of Greenwood, Miss. Kenneth Journey, who owns & is building on adjoining land, drove us the last several miles. This lone grave stands in a plowed field in Sec. 29, Tnsp. 21, R 3E. The road crosses the conservation dam on Kirby Creek, a tributary of Potacocowa. Copied by: Kenneth Journey, Laurence & Ethel Bibus on May 6, 1984.
