Note: This cemetery is
enclosed with three rail board fence, good gate, all painted white. The area is
well maintained and all fallen & broken stones were reset by Mr. Genet who
owned the land and ran an extensive cattle & hog farm. The place is now in
the hands of Gordon Cooper, Jr., of Lambert, Miss. Original entries in the
courthouse in Carrollton show that this land on which the cemetery is located
was patented by Titus Howard in 1835.
