Obituary of James George, Jr.

    Mr. James George Jr., 80, of McCarley died of congestive heart failure Oct. 17, 2001 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer and bus driver.

    Services were held Oct. 22 at Eden Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. Thomas L. Keys officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery near McCarley.

    Mr. George is survived by two daughters, Alma Robinson of McCarley, Mable Phillips of Coila; two sons, James G. George of North Carrollton, Otha L. “Bull” George of McCarley; one brother, Willie Floyd George of Kosciusko; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

    Roberts & Sons Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
