Searching for information on descendants of Grover White and Edna Wilson. They are found on the 1920 Tallahatchie Census: Grover White, 31 WM, farmer, born MS; Edna, wife, 21 WF, born in MS, Luther E., son, 4 WM, born MS; Ada Few, sister-in-law, 26 WF, widow, born MS. Edna was the daughter of Green B. Wilson and Fannie Shoemake. Green and Fannie were married December 11, 1892 in Webster County, MS. Any help in my search would be appreciated.

Still seeking information about my ancestor, Robert BROWN. The first track I have of him in PARKER county is his witnessing of a land claim for Benjamin Reynolds, uncle of Izella KIDWELL, whom he married about 1860-1861. Their daughter, Sarah Jane, who married James Milton WALKER was born August 2, 1861. The 1860 census shows a R.BROWN age 28 in the household of a 69 year old female, I. BROWN whom I guess to be his mother. Also in this household is E. BROWN a 24 year old male and J. BROWN a 22 year old female. I suppose E. BROWN is a brother and J. BROWN either a sister or sister-in-law. His wife and daughter are shown on the Confederate Indigent Families Index for PARKER county 1863-1865. He was dead by 1863 when the County tax list shows Stephen KIDWELL to be administrator of his estate. Presumably he died while in the service for the Civl War. I find a Eli P. BROWN (age 26) on the 1862 muster roll for company K of the 5th Texas Cavalry, also known as the 5th Mounted Volunteers. Was this his brother? Was he in the same military company? Really need help on this man! Also always glad to have more contacts or information about my other PARKER county families: COX,WALKER,KIDWELL,SEWELL

I have traced the THOMPSON family back to 1860 in TALLAHATCHIE. The census indicates Green Thompson had his father, Washington Thompson who was 70 yrs. old living with him. Green Thompson had nine children. Do you know anything about the Thompson family who appeared to live around the Charleston area. One of the children married a Taylor. Thanks for any info. Brenda T.
