This headstone was placed in the approximate location of the grave. The date of death is estimated. Robert Adam West was married to Dolly Ann Sargent (daughter of Temple Sargent and Louisa Winbush Lester). They were the parents of Malissa Belle who married Samuel Augustus Scott, Philip Lester who married Anna Lou Wood, and William McFarin.

Dolly Ann Sargent was first married to James Madison Sargent. They had the following children: Leondas Thompson "Bob" who married Isabelle Frances Goodwyn, Emma L. who married Marcellas Cochran, and Rufus Sargent. The location of Dolly West's grave is unknown. Dolly died before Robert West, but the exact date is unknown.
