Pictured left to right, sitting: Marshall Lorenzo Sanders (My Grandfather) born 1 Feb 1884 in Saltillo, MS and died 28 Aug 1962 in Jackson, MS. Next is his mother, Mary Elizabeth James Sanders born 28 June 1864 NC and died 1946 in Tupelo, MS. Next is his father, John Franklin Sanders born 14 Nov 1858. He was the son of Lorenzo Dow Sanders and Rebecca E. Ramsey Looney. John, Mary Elizabeth, and Lorenzo Dow are buried in Buelah Smith Cemetery on the outskirts of Saltillo. The two men standing are John and Mary Elizabeth's sons, Thomas La Drew and Joseph Franklin Sanders.
