Ms. Patsy D. Walker, 83, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2021, at her daughter’s residence in Monticello. Patsy was born January 25, 1937, in Columbia, MS to Albert Sidney and Betty Berry Donald.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 2:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM at New Hebron United Methodist Church in New Hebron, MS with graveside services following in New Hebron Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth Roberts and Rev. Danny Forrest will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed caring and providing for others, especially close friends and family. Patsy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of New Hebron United Methodist Church in New Hebron, MS. Patsy will be missed by everyone.
Patsy is survived by her children, daughters Donna Sue Ballard and husband Chad of Monticello, MS, Gail Thompson and husband Pete of Hattiesburg, MS; son, Sidney Walker of Monticello, MS; one sister, Betty Siler of New Hebron, MS; 8 grandchildren, Tad Ballard, Angie Marik, Kristie Barlow, Mary Sue Thompson, Bailey Walker, Chris Walker, Kacy Ard, and Kelly Walker; 10 Great Grandchildren, Eigen, Adessa, Logan, Mary Kathryn, Abigail, Anna Claire, Brenlee, Jonah, Neeley, and Abel; numerous nieces and nephews.
Those preceding her in death were her parents, husband Rudolph C. Walker; son Rudy Walker Jr.; one grandson, Neal Ballard.
