M. Magee Dead: Drops Dead Suddenly at His Texas Home: Well Known in this County: Remains Will Be Buried With Masonic Honors at Newhebron.

Scores of Jeff Davis County folks were shocked Monday when word was received here that Mack Magee had died suddenly at his home in Waldo, Texas. Details at first were lacking and many were the anxious inquiries made in the hope that the report might be untrue.

Mr. Magee formerly resided at Newhebron, having been that town's first depot agent. He resigned and went to Texas on account of his health.

Calling to one of his sons to tell the other to come to him, the invalid suddenly fell. The words addressed to his son were his last, as he died a short while afterward without ever having regained consciousness.

The remains will be shipped to New Hebron and will be buried next Monday with Masonic honors.

The deceased leaves a wife and two children. He was well known throughout this community.
