Mrs. Pharby Hickman Jones, of Lawrence County, died at the residence of her grandson, P. Z. Jones in Brookhaven July 5, at the age of 76 years.

She was the mother of Z. P., W. V. and A. W. Jones, and of Mmes. A. H. McGuffey, Katie Maxwell, and Mary L. Smith; Samuel and Joshua Hickman are her brothers. There are 36 grand-children and 11 great grand-children.

The burial was made at the family grave yard, near Monticello.--Adgab.
