The Leader received a message late Saturday evening from Dr. Geo. A. Robertson, of Fair River, announcing the sudden death at 4 o’clock that afternoon of Robt. Criscoe, one of the oldest and most prominent farmers of the Denver community. It is supposed that death was due to apoplexy or the bursting of a blood vessel.

Mr. Criscoe was about 70 or 72 years of age. He had reared a large family, most of whom had settled about him. He was a man of influence in his community and for a long number of years had been one of the leading members of the Antioch Baptist church, where he was buried on Sunday. Fullest sympathy goes out to his aged widow and other bereaved ones.
