Mrs. Crane, 91, died Jan. 23, 2012, at Haven Hall Health Care Center. She was born in Mississippi on July 27, 1920, to J.A. and Maude Nations McGuffie. She was a retired seamstress at Kellwood and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Plez Crane; four sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors are her sons, James Earl Crane and wife, Anna, of Brookhaven, and Charles Ray Crane and wife, Wanda, of Brookhaven; daughter, Bertile Beasley, of Brookhaven; brother, Paul McGuffie, of Bogue Chitto; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
