Revia Nicole Smith Cohen, 54, of Madison passed away on November 2, 2023.

Revia was born in Jackson, Mississippi on February 21, 1969 to Charlotte and Cliff Smith of Madison. She attended Jackson Preparatory School, Mississippi College and Mississippi College School of Law. She was admitted to practice in Mississippi and Connecticut and was employed as an attorney.

She had a kind disposition, a love for people, and a great sense of humor. She had an affinity for style and design, as well as a fondness for animals.

Revia is survived by two children, Cameron (17) and Brendan (15), both of Connecticut. She is also survived by her parents, her brother Dr. Philip Smith, her sister- in- law Klara Smith and nephew Luke Smith; her uncle and aunt Harold and Becky Hart; first cousins Candace Powell (Jay) and Andrew Hart (Rhonda) and their families, as well as many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her brother Wade Smith and her grandparents Virginia and Buford Townsend and Will Ann Smith and Clarence Smith.

A visitation for Revia will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Parkway Funeral Home, 1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, Mississippi 39157, with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 22 East Lincoln Road, Monticello, Mississippi 39604.
