Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Nell McGuffie Boyd will be Friday, March 10, 2017, 11:00 am at Antioch Baptist Church with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service and from 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday at Antioch.

Mrs. Boyd, 79, of Brookhaven, died March 7, 2017 at Kings Daughter’s Medical Center in Brookhaven.

She was born April 15, 1937 to Alfred McGuffie and Ona Mae Sutton McGuffie. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Boyd was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, a long time board member of Topisaw Creek Water Association and also a long time East Lincoln Voting Precinct leader.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Grady E. Boyd; one son, Douglas E. Boyd (Dusty) and wife Amanda; her brother Don R. McGuffie and wife Mary Agnes; two grandchildren, Danica Layne and Jason M. Boyd, and Bethany Rayne and Nathan Hardy and two great grandchildren, Bailey and Gavin Boyd.
