Services for Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Carie Blackwell, of Rt. 1. Monticello, will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the Antioch Baptist Church in Monticello with interment in the Antioch Cemetery.

Mrs. Blackwell passed away August 5 at the Silver Cross Nursing Home. She was 83 years of age.

Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her husband Mark Blackwell of Rt. 1, Monticello, two sons, Basil of Orange, Texas, and Lance of Alburquerque, New Mexico; three daughters, Mrs. Dan Calhoun of Jackson. Mrs. Wayne Russell of Panama City, Fla., Mrs. Florence Brister of McComb; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
