Services for Abbott "Abb" Jones, 77, of Union Church, who died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church in McBride, with the Rev. James Wells officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Jones was born June 19, 1936, in Jefferson County, the son of Pearlean Jones.

He was a Sunday School superintendent.

Survivors include his children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and a number of other relatives and friends.
