Located near Kirkman’s Landing on the north shore of Grenada
Lake on Corps of Engineers Land in Grenada County. This cemetery
is one and one half miles northeast of the north end of Grenada
Dam. It’s about one fourth mile east of the south end of Kirkman
Landing Road, on the east side of a large hill within 100 yards
of Grenada Lake.
Turn off State Highway 7 in
Yalobusha County about one and one half miles northeast of the Grenada County
line onto Torrance Landing/Kirkman Landing Road, CR 73. Go approximately three
and one half miles south. Stay to the right when the road forks to Torrance to
the left, CR 185. At the top of the last hill next to Grenada Lake walk east.
The cemetery is about one fourth mile east of the road on the east side of the
hill. The last half mile (south end) of the road is impassible and you must
walk. The location is near the center of the southeast ¼ of Section 15, Township
23N, Range 5E. N 33.51.18, W 089.45.14.
