Isaac Blount was born in either 1771 or 1781 in North Carolina and
he migrated to Carroll county Tennessee when he was about 35 years old.
He married Catherine Lovey Jones and they were the parents of the following
children: William, Jones, John Gray, Barney, Wiley, Drusilla, Malissa,
Sarah, Mary, and Eliza. Eliza was born about 1820 and she was the mother
of my paternal grandmother. Eliza married William C. McCord in Weakley
county Tennessee. My grandmother, Sarah Elisabeth McCord, married William
Andrew Dimmick on July 4,1876 and they lived in Paducah, KY which is where
I grew up. I now live in the greater Cincinnati area. I would like information
concerning the parents of Isaac and Catherine. They moved to Ripley, Mississippi
where at least two of their children lived. Barney Blount was listed in
the 1850 Mississippi census, and Malissa married Green King and they were
buried in Ripley, Mississippi. Isaac and Catherine were buried in the Rucker

I am looking for any information on the above families in Tippah County
in the 1840 -1855 time frame. My ggrandfather Linza R. Brim and wife Jemima
(Simpson) Brim were in the 1850 census for Tippah Co. Linza was born in
Lincoln Co.,TN in 1828/29 the son of William Brim/Mary Westbrook. I have
very little information on the family during that time except that William
died while Linza was young and some of the family moved to Tippah Co. Linza
moved to Navarro Co., TX in 1854 where he married Sarah J. Scott in 1869
after Jemima died in 1868. Sarah was born in MS in 1848 but I don't know
if it was in Tippah Co. Her family came to TX in 1851. I don't know if
Linza had siblings but assume he did since a bibliography of him from Navarro

from his second marriage. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

BURROW(S)
I am doing a search of my family history. I am looking for info on
Lewis Burrow of the Brush Creek Community of the Tippah/Alcorn area. I
do not know his wife's name, but he had a daughter named Celia/Celie Burrow,
who married Giles Preston Parish in ~1868/1870. Thank you for any information.
