Mary Allen Mary Allen, 71, of Drew, died Wednesday, Aug. 22,
2001, at her residence.
Funeral services are at 2:30 p.m. Sunday
at Holly Grove Church in Drew with the Rev. F. C. McCann
officiating. Burial will follow at Drew Cemetery under the direction
of Byas Funeral Home in Ruleville. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m.
Saturday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Earnest Allen of Drew; a son,
John L. Allen of Drew; six daughters, Queen Ester Childs Dorris of
Ruleville, Orena Allen of Drew, Mollie Allen of Cleveland, Earnest
Branch of Indianola, Eloise Sutton and Nettie Allen, both of Canton;
21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
