Mrs. Ora Davis Jones



Mrs. Ora Jones Services Held Mrs. Ora Jones widow of Walter Jones died Wednesday, March 22, of an apparent heart attack in Tupelo at the home of granddaughter Mrs. Buster Brooks. Mrs. Jones, who was 85 years of age, was a resident of the Longview Community for many years. Services were conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Longview Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Wilder officiating. Burial followed in the Longview Cemetery with Baldwin Funeral Home in charge. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Wilder of Tupelo and Mrs. Gertrude Harrington of Matson, Miss.; three sons, Elford of Pontotoc, Earnest of Belden, and Maurice of Chesterville; a half-sister Mrs. Pernia Witt of Kosciusko; four half-brothers, Ervin and Chester Davis of Michigan, Connie Davis of Pontotoc and Roy Davis of Tupelo; 26 grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
