plantation in Baird,
MS in 1800s Sunflower Co.
Was probably of a love affair so it is so hard to find information on him.
His father may have been James

Rogers they were both born
in Louisiana but there parents were born in Mississippi. I still have no

I knew my grandfather before
he died. I know my
grandmother (who is yet
alive) She is almost 100 years old. My father is still alive and
6 of his siblings. I have a picture of my grandfather's
grandparents on his mother's
side of the family. A very elderly aunt remembers when my grandfather
was a little boy and she is the one with
all of the historical information. |
