"Calvert was established May 28, 1886 with Benjamin F. King as postmaster. There was a Calvert's Store in Southwest Kemper with Adam Calvert as postmaster. It is not known if this office was re-established in that area or not. This office was discontinued April 10, 1905."
 "Calvert's Store was established on Jan. 29, 1856 with Adam Calvert as postmaster. It was in Mr. Calvert's store, which was about 8 miles northeast of Collinsville. It was discontinued on April 27, 1881."
