located Lovett Cemetery No. One, it being the first LOVETT burying
place in Webster County. Lovett No. Two is located near Montevista – in
Beat one. Among those buried are: John David LOVETT and wife, Eliza,
a pioneer family, progenitors of the large and reputable LOVETT
family; parents of (sons) John Jr., Isaac, Alvy, David and
Mose;
(daughters) Eliza HOLLOWAY and Thankful McCLENDON; grandparents
of Francis OSWALT, Mary Ann TABB, Margaret THARP, Amanda REEVES, Elzia
CRUMBY, Allis SUGG, and E. LOVETT (editor of the Maben Press) and
Mrs. Nan WILLIAMS Mrs. Bill FINCH and the late Matt LOVETT;
great-grandparents
of Henry, Bud, Dock and Ambrose TABB, Mrs. Joe SEALY, Sim THARP,
Mrs. Claud EVANS, Margaret GREGG, Dora WILLINGHAM and Kirk, Ezekiel and
Bryant SUGG; great-great-grandparents of Dr. Granville TANN of
Greenwood, Otho TABB, Harve, Marguerite, Mrs. Katie Lou WILLIAMS
