Pictured is a class of the Vacation Bible School at the First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, ca. 1940. Most of the children are unknown (please contact us if you recognize anyone!), but we can tell you that the boy with his hand to his forehead is Tony Edward Butler, and right behind him to the far left of the back row is his brother, John Allen Butler. Tony and John are nephews of Vand and Birdie Cranford.
