Hermann Koeller to Peter H. Webster
Patent of the United States No. 57336 dated August
21, 1866 granted to H. Koeller of Camp Point
Adams County, Illinois for certain improvements in hand
spinning machine. Now this indenture witnessed that I the
said H. Koeller in consideration of five
hundred dollars to me in hand paid the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant and convey all my right
title and interest in and to said invention to Peter H.
Webster of the State of Tennessee the
exclusive right to use sell or assign the said improvements in
said hand spinning machine in the territory of the States of
North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi
and Louisianna and in no other place.
Witness my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of October
1869.
