Dr. John Lavoisier Pittman and Emily Jane Hemphill Pittman

John was a great grandson of James Pittman, Soldier of the American Revolution.  He was born in Chambers County, Alabama.  Buried at Sarepta Cemetery.

Emily was a great granddaughter of James Henphill, Soldier of the American Revolution.  She was born in Greene County, Alabama.  Buried at Pontotoc Cemetery.

William Claude Pittman and Maude Ella Bennett Pittman

He was a son of Dr. John Lavoisier Pittman and Emily Hemphill Pittman.  He was born in Cherokee County Texas and was buried at Pontotoc Cemetery in Pontotoc.

She was born in Orizaba, Tippah County, Mississippi and is buried at Pontotoc Cemetery in Pontotoc.
