BELOVED WOMAN DIES IN PRENTISS

PRENTISS, May 1 - Mrs. Eliza McNease, widow of the late E. E. McNease, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Holly Garner, after an illness of several weeks.

Mrs. McNease was 69 years of age and had lived all her life in Jefferson Davis County where the family is well known. She was a most estimable woman and with her husband, who preceded her to the grave, about a year ago, reared a large family, all of whom are now married and into homes of their own.

She was a member of the Antioch Baptist church, from which the funeral was conducted by her pastor, the Rev. J. B. Quinn of Prentiss. She leaves the following children: Mrs. Otis Dewitt, Prentiss; Mrs. Ida Bass, Prentiss; Mrs. Nona Lee, Prentiss; Mrs. Addie Dewitt, Crowville, La.; Archie Mc Nease,Carson; Pink McNease, Winnsboro, La.; Mrs. Holly Garner, Carson; Robert McNease, Melba; Vernon McNease, Monticello.
