Mrs. Evans services today

COLUMBIA - Services were to be at 4 p.m. today at Antioch Baptist Church for Mrs. Maranda Evans, 87, of Rt. 1, Prentiss, who died Sunday night at Flo-Adrian Nursing Home. Burial was to be in the church cemetery.

Survivors are two sons, Grover Evans of Prentiss and Robert D. Evans of Jackson; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Catha of Bogalusa; two brothers, Hollis Garner of Prentiss and Houston Garner of Hattiesburg; a sister, Mrs. W. L. Miller of Wisner, La; four grandchildren and a number of great and great-great-grandchildren.
