Mrs. Amanda Bass' services are held

PRENTISS - Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Antioch Baptist Church for Mrs. Amanda McNease Bass, 85, who died Friday morning at Mobile Infirmary, where she had been a patient for about four months.

She was a native of this area but had lived in Mobile for the past 11 years. She was the daughter of the late James P. and Susie Sanders McNease. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery with Saulters Funeral home in charge. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. W. W. Cleveland, Mobile, Ala; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
