Services for Ella Mae Thomas, 75, of Fayette, who died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Beckett Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Diane Banks officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.
Mrs. Thomas was born June 24, 1934, the daughter of Isadore Trevillion and Roxie Baker. She was a member of Beckett Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and served as a Mother of the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Thomas; five brothers, Isadore Trevillion Jr., Rayfield Trevillion, Eddie Lee Trevillion, Johnny Trevillion and Albert Trevillion; and two sisters, Lessie Mae Noble and Odessa Trevillion.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Trevillion of LaPlace, La., and Leroy Trevillion of Fayette; three daughters, Cynthia McBribe, Shirley Thomas and Bobbie January, all of Fayette; one sister, Lula Kaho of Fayette; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
