Services for Rose Marie Brown, 75, of Fayette, who died Saturday, Oct. 18,2014, at Jefferson County Nursing Home, will be at 2p.m. Saturday at Beckett Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Dianne J. Banks officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Brown was born Oct. 28, 1938, in Fayette, the daughter of James Perry Brown and Rosie Gales Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Shirley Ann Promise.
Survivors include two sisters, Theresa Belton and husband, Ben, and Barbara Bailey, all of Fayette; two nieces, Sharron Doss and husband, MacArthur, of Fayette and Jasmine Jaliah and husband, Varney, of Bordentown, N.J.; one great-nephew, MacArthur Doss Jr. of Fayette; one great-niece, ShaTajma Doss of Fayette; and missed by a number of cousins and friends.
