Tim Barlow, 51, of Florence, died Friday, July 16, 2010, at University Medical Center.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 until 5 P.M. today at Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram, with funeral services scheduled for 10 am Monday, July 19, 2010, from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church, Barlow Community, Hazlehurst.

A native of Jackson, Tim grew up in south Jackson and attended Central High School and graduated from Hinds Community College. He served in the US Air Guard and was an LPN for years and recently a painter/remodeler. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.

He is survived by his mother, Clara Barlow; his fiancee Robin Dewolf; daughter, Tracie Barlow; step sons, Michael and Matthew Vaughn; sisters, Sue Nelson and Sharon Thorp; brothers, Billy, Bobby, Richard, Tim, and J.M. Sims; and grandson Jordan Smith.
