Mrs. Melba Baucum Barlow, 78, left this earth on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from the University of MS Medical Center to go home to be with her Lord and Savior.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 PM Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery near Hazlehurst, MS. Visitation will be Thursday from 10-11 AM at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson.
Mrs. Barlow was born on November 21, 1932 in Sandersville, Mississippi and retired from the MS Industries for the Blind.
Her greatest love was Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior and the love and concern for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Barlow.
Melba is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Cahoon (Johnnie); sons, Terry Barlow (Pam), Norman Barlow and Bobby Atwood (Kay); grandchildren, Kriste Magnum (Jimmy), Dewayne Liggett, Shane Cahoon (Rebecca), Michael Barlow (Lee), Brian Barlow, Ken Atwood, Tanya Dale (Daniel) and Anthony Atwood (Laura); great grandchildren, Julia and John David Liggett, Carsyn Byars , Matt Mangum, Morgan Barlow and Danielle Dale.
