Julian Barlow Jr., 73, died Sunday, December 8, 2002, at home. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Stringer Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Barlow was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Barlow; two daughters, Sue Nelson of Gautier and Sharron Locke of LaGrange, Ga.; son, Timothy Barlow of Jackson; five stepsons, Billy Sims of Terry, Bobby Sims and Richard Sims, both of Brandon, Tim Sims of Jackson, and J.M. Sims of Florence; brother, Burnell Barlow of Vicksburg; three sisters, Mildred James of Brandon, Carie Fountain of Pearl, and Florence Bowers of Mendenhall; 18 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
